About the event..

In our annual coast-to-coast tour, Five Hole for Food travels from the East Coast to the West Coast playing ball hockey for local food banks.

Beginning with a simple idea, the annual tour has not strayed from our humble beginnings. To take part and join in a city near you, all you need is a hockey stick and a can of food. We’ll supply the rest.

Meet us at Place du Canada from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on July 9th and bring your donation for Moisson Montreal. Let’s play hockey for food and make this our most successful tour yet.

Ensure an optimal food supply to the community organizations that provide assistance to people in crisis on the island of Montréal and foster the developpement of sustainable solutions to ensure food security are the two major objectives for Moisson Montreal.

The requested non-perishable foods are: pasta, rice, meat and fish, canned soups and stews, dry and canned fruits and canned vegetables, flour, hot or cold cereals, whole grain cereals, peanut butter, aseptic milk powder or canned fruit juices, pasta sauces, beans, infant formula and baby food.

Les denrées non périssables les plus recherchées sont : les pâtes, le riz, la viande et le poisson en conserve, les soupes et ragoûts secs et en conserve, les fruits et les légumes en conserve, la farine, les céréales chaudes ou froides, les céréales de grains entiers, le beurre d’arachide, le lait aseptique en poudre ou en conserve, les jus de fruit, les sauces pour pâtes, les légumineuses, les préparations pour nourrissons et la nourriture pour bébés.
